These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the sale and delivery of custom VW buses provided by The Food Truckers Co. Laredo (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to the purchaser (“you” or “your”). By purchasing a custom VW bus from us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

1. Vehicle Condition

 

Our custom VW buses are typically more than 40 years old and have been restored and customized to suit modern functionality. While we take great care to ensure these vehicles are roadworthy and reliable, it is important to note that, due to their age, they may experience wear and tear not common in newer vehicles.

 

2. Warranty

 

We offer a 30-day warranty on the engine starting from the day the vehicle leaves our lot. This warranty covers engine defects that may arise during normal use within this period. The warranty does not cover:

 

• Wear and tear on non-engine parts

• Accidents, misuse, or damage caused after delivery

• Routine maintenance or parts replacement

 

After the 30-day warranty expires, we are not liable for any engine-related issues, repairs, or replacements.

 

3. Spare Parts Kit

 

Each custom VW bus comes with a spare parts kit, which includes essential components to help maintain your vehicle. This kit is provided to assist with ongoing maintenance but does not extend the warranty period.

 

4. Vehicle Modifications

 

All custom modifications, including interior changes, mechanical upgrades, and aesthetic enhancements, are done in consultation with you, the buyer. Once modifications are completed and the vehicle has left our lot, no further adjustments or changes are covered under warranty.

 

5. Delivery and Pickup

 

You are responsible for arranging pickup or delivery of your custom VW bus. Any transportation fees are not included in the price unless otherwise agreed upon. We recommend using a professional transportation service, especially for long-distance deliveries.

 

6. Risk of Loss

 

Once the vehicle leaves our lot, all risk of loss or damage transfers to you. We are not responsible for any damages or loss that occur during transportation or after delivery.

 

7. Refunds and Returns

 

Due to the custom nature of our vehicles, all sales are final. No refunds or returns will be accepted once the vehicle has left our lot. We strongly encourage you to inspect the vehicle thoroughly before finalizing your purchase.

 

8. Cancellation Policy

 

If you cancel the build after work has begun, a cancellation fee of at least $2,000 will apply. This fee helps cover the incurred costs of labor and materials already invested in the project.

 

9. Governing Law

 

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
